Words We Carry is an illustrated 2027 calendar exploring 12 meaningful Vietnamese words and expressions, with one concept representing each month of the year.

The 12 featured words are:

Each word reflects an emotion, value, relationship, or idea that carries a deeper meaning within Vietnamese life. Through original illustrations and storytelling, the calendar looks beyond direct translation to explore themes of identity, family, gratitude, resilience, belonging, and hope.

Each month features an original illustration by Bảo Quyên, together with its Vietnamese word. A QR code leads to a short video where you can discover more about the word, its cultural context, and the ideas and feelings connected to it.

The monthly calendar also includes a selection of international and Vietnamese holidays, bringing together everyday planning with cultural connection.

More than a calendar, Words We Carry is a small journey through Vietnamese language and culture — and the meanings we carry with us.
