Phúc – blessing · happiness · good fortune · wellbeing – is a Vietnamese word that describes the kind of fortune that makes life feel full.
It is not only about wealth or success. Phúc can be found in good health, a loving family, harmony, meaningful relationships, and the simple privilege of being together.
For this illustration, I portrayed a family spending Tết together while making bánh chưng. The scene reflects the warmth of returning home, preparing food together, sharing traditions, and creating memories across generations.
For me, phúc is this kind of abundance – not measured by what we own, but by the people, moments, and traditions we are fortunate enough to experience and pass on.
